Pass-A-Grille Beach Activities

Even though Pass-A-Grille is famous for its beaches, it offers a plethora of fun activities to check out! You can start your visit with a fascinating look into the Pass-A-Grille past courtesy of the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum; museum parking is limited, so get there early.

After your history lesson, why not check out an essential Pass-A-Grille Beach landmark that has been around since the 1900s? The World Famous Merry Pier (opened in 1902) is a "must-see" venue to visit in Pass-A-Grille Beach. From Merry Pier, you can choose a boat charter, each its own unique experience. The Shell Key Shuttle visits the Shell Key Preserve for a beach excursion that includes bird and dolphin watching on the way to the island destination where you can swim and sunbathe. Shell Key Shuttle also has a catamaran that provides seafarers with a sunset cruise (private charters are also available). For visitors seeking a more adventurous and satisfying fishing expedition, look no further than Miss Pass-A-Grille. Miss Pass-A-Grille offers half-day and full-day trips for both adults and children (ages 12 and under). With an opportunity to catch a variety of fish including Grouper, Snapper, and Triggerfish, it is definitely worth the trip.

If a visit to the park is more your speed, check out Hurley Park between 15th and 16th Avenue, which hosts an Annual Fish Broil around October/November.
